As Founder and President of PM Healthcare Consulting, LLC (PMHC), Patricia Morrill’s career has focused on leading change. She is a national speaker, a published author, and professional development instructor. Patricia is passionate about elevating the status of patients to partners in care. She turned her focus to patient advocacy and family caregivers after 30 years of healthcare experience with clinics and hospitals spanning operations leadership, performance improvement, risk analysis, and project management.

Her book, The Perils of Un-Coordinated Healthcare: A Strategic Approach Toward Eliminating Preventable Harm, published by Routledge of Taylor & Francis in 2017, shares her story (from a personal and professional perspective) of her mother’s preventable harm leading to death. Patricia’s role as a family caregiver in combination with her extensive healthcare experience equip her with practical methods to educate the general public about the importance of healthcare advocacy.

Her community outreach trainings, Be a Healthcare Advocate for Yourself and Your Loved Ones, have consistently received high marks on evaluations from a wide span of age groups.

Patricia is a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Evidence-Based Design Accredited Professional (EDAC). She is a member of the National Association of Healthcare Advocacy (NAHAC), Project Management Institute (PMI), and Center for Health Design.
